Grand Teton National Park

Enjoy hiking and backpacking in the Grand Tetons with Rendezvous Backcountry Tours

We specialize in small group wilderness backpacking and hiking adventures in Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and the Jedediah Smith Wilderness near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  All of our trips are in the Wilderness or National Parks so you won't be hearing dirt bikes and ATV's or dodging mountain bike traffic. We have a minimum group size of two people so couples will not be charged extra fees to hike alone - you simply get a private tour at the group rate.

Visualize yourself sleeping under the star-filled western Wyoming sky, far from any city lights.  Learn about the unique ecology of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem as you spend your days hiking among the scenic grandeur of the Grand Teton Mountains.  Photograph meadows of wildflowers, swim in an alpine lake or climb a 10,000 foot peak—the experience is yours to have forever!

Your safety, comfort and enjoyment are our main concerns.  We provide all of the necessary equipment for an overnight adventure or a day hike into the high country. Our Mountain Hardware tents, sleeping bags, and pads are some of the lightest on the market and our certified guides are expert outdoor leaders and educators. We also rent our equipment for your own backpacking adventures. Additional services include prepared backpacking meals and trailhead shuttles for you or your vehicles.  Please contact us for additional information.

Backcountry HikingOur Rammell Mountain Yurt is available for nightly rental year-round. Located on 24 wooded and private acres in the foothills of the Tetons, this yurt provides all the amenities of conventional lodging, such as hot showers and flushing toilets, as well as kitchen facilities, an outdoor grill and a picnic table. The yurt is a 1-hour drive to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Trailheads into the Jedediah Smith Wilderness and other less traveled trails are only minutes away. The hip hamlet of Driggs, Idaho, is a 20-minute drive on the way to Grand Targhee Resort and Teton Canyon Recreation Areas.
